Sand filter

Sand filter is an essential requirement for swimming pools. It traps all the dirt particles and returns clean water back to the pool. It consists of a cylindrical chamber which is filled with special filter sand. Pool water is directed through a sand filled pressure vessel where all the dirt is accumulated and clean water is passed through. As soon as the water finds it hard to pass through, it is signalling that the filter needs cleaning. These filters require cleaning on a periodic basis so as to maintain the efficiency. Sand filters are easy to use and are considered as the least maintenance required filters among all.
